RE/MAX du Cartier and its management

RE/MAX du Cartier first opened its doors in July 1995 at 835 Saint-Joseph Boulevard in Plateau Mont-Royal. Before long, the real estate agency had grown into a renowned institution, drawing many experienced brokers into its fold.

In 1997, the outstanding reputation that RE/MAX and its team had earned, coupled with a booming housing market, prompted broker and owner Serge Brousseau to acquire a second franchise. It was established at 1290 Bernard Avenue West in Outremont, the site of an existing, competing agency. Under its new banner, it enjoyed extraordinary growth in a brief period of time. Many brokers from other real estate companies soon swelled the ranks of the RE/MAX du Cartier Outremont franchise.

In 2002, RE/MAX du Cartier opened its third branch on Laird Boulevard in Town of Mount-Royal.

This was quickly followed in 2003 by the fourth addition to the RE/MAX du Cartier family, located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard in the heart of Montreal’s Little Italy.

Today, RE/MAX du Cartier enjoys an enviable reputation. With its sub-franchisees, the agency has more than 190 brokers and franchisees covering neighbourhoods all over the Greater Montreal region. Proudly entrenched in its leadership position, the agency now posts the largest annual sales volume of all real estate agencies according to the Québec Federation of Real Estate Boards statistics, that is to say more than $633 million.

The RE/MAX du Cartier story is one of a meteoric rise to success, propelled by competence and determination—those of its brokers, of course, but also of its administrative staff and management.
