Exclusive protection offered by your participating
Without a doubt, buying or selling a property is one of the most important transactions in people’s lives today. Your RE/MAX broker is well aware of this, and that’s why he or she will work in your best interest to make your dream come true. It’s also why RE/MAX offers you exclusive protection, called Tranquilli-T. The Tranquilli-T program is peace of mind guaranteed! RE/MAX offers you triple protection:
Delay and withdrawal
Whether you are buying or selling a property, certain unforeseen situations may occur: for example financing withdrawal, loss of employment, separation, a fire or a surveying problem. Events like these may delay—or even cancel—the signing of the deed of sale. With the RE/MAX Tranquilli-T program, if such a situation should occur any time after all the conditions of the offer to purchase are met, the additional charges incurred—over and above $ 300 and up to a maximum of $ 25,000—will be covered by the program for a period of 180 days.
With the RE/MAX Tranquilli-T program, in the event that the buyer or his/her spouse dies, you will be protected and the transaction will be guaranteed. If, between the moment all conditions of the offer to purchase are met and the signing takes place at the notary’s office, the deceased’s estate no longer wishes to purchase, the agreed-upon selling price will be paid to you by the program.
The Tranquilli-T program provides you with free consultation as well as coverage for any legal problems related to your transaction. Within twelve months after signing the deed of sale at the notary’s office, if you have a question or a concern—e.g., problems with a neighbour—or if you have found a hidden defect, you’ll have access to various resources to help you reach a favourable settlement:
Free telephone consultation. Answers, advice or recommendations will be given to you by a lawyer competent in real estate transactions.
In the event that legal proceedings become necessary, legal fees will be covered (up to $ 5,000 per incident, and up to a total maximum of $ 10,000).
